The Healing Art of Longevity!  The purpose of Mother's Touch is to balance and correct any deviation

in the bodily flows.  Twenty of these bodily flows ascend and descend throughout the body, developing the physical form, the consciousness, the voice, and the energy level.  There are three energy flows, twelve organ flows and five abnormal flows. These 20 flows can be likened to rivers and streams flowing in their beds. When the river beds get blocked or when they overflow onto other beds or when they back up and flow in the opposite direction, pain, illness, and abnormalities result.

There are 26 major points on each side of the body, making 52 points in all. To balance and adjust the energies and flows, the fingers of the right and left hands are placed simultaneously on different points. The correct hands and points have been worked out in detail for each flow in this book.

About the Author

Ruth Romig Bolton, B.A. (1919 - 2010) was a gifted healer and teacher.

Ruth was the daughter of Presbyterian missionaries to China. She also served as a missionary in the Congo with her husband Eric for 19 years. Ruth worked as a nurse, a teacher, and a massage therapist. She also was trained in the Edgar Cayce cures and authored 2 books. She infused all of her work and writings with the spiritual teachings she lived and breathed.

Ruth retired at the age of 79 from her staff position in the Center for Disciplines of Wholeness at The Summit Lighthouse community headquarters in Montana. She made her transition January 4, 2010, at the age of 90 after a short illness. She is survived by her 4 children, Harry, Elizabeth, Mary, and William, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Ruth trained Martha Libster privately in Mother's Touch (a Japanese healing tradition) in 1983 after Martha had been a dancer with first company of Sachiyo Ito Dance Company and Musicians in New York City. Ruth and Martha became close and Ruth graciously stood in for Martha's mother at her wedding where she met Martha's father whom we later discovered had been ordained as a minister in Ohio by Ruth's brother.

Ruth's children gave the rights for Ruth's book to Golden Apple Publications so that Dr. Martha could preserve and carry on Ruth's vision for this important ancient healing tradition.
